NYC Indie Horror Book Fair – November 22, 2025
November 22 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Mission Statement:
Since February 6th, 2020 Brooklyn Attic Books has been working diligently at serving the online horror community, and working hard to bring people together for bookish events. For the first time, we are thrilled to kick off the NYC Indie Horror Book Fair!!
This event is an open invitation to indie authors who don’t always get a seat at the big table, who rarely shine in the NYC spotlights, and work hard to keep horror fresh, weird, and indie. We want you and your haunting tales, chilling zines, grossed out art, and whatever spooky fucked up shit you write!
Venue/Neighborhood:
Held at a historic German club house in Ridgewood, NY. Ridgewood is historically a German & Dutch neighborhood in NYC, on the border of Queens & Brooklyn. The neighborhood is predominantly European immigrants, and a great mix of newcomers from all over. We are a proud community! There is a lot of LOVE here. Our community is made up and supports local artists/creators. This venue was chosen because of personal ties but also they host some amazing events here throughout the year. It’s time to make space & spread some of this NY love to the Indie Horror Book community.
We love supporting the indie horror book community, always have and always will. This was a logical next step to bring all these wonderful authors and book publishers to our neighborhood. We’re truly honored to host this event!
Who should apply?
Any and all indie horror authors/publishers/zine creators from across America. This is a great opportunity to meet a lot of cool people in a unique neighborhood. This will be heavily marketed to NYC, especially to the surrounding neighborhood that absolutely adore these type of events. Of course, we also have plenty of local authors who would like some more face time! Be sure to stick around for updates on who will be coming.
Are you self published? Don’t be shy and apply! Ha (AI was not used to write any part of this. Cheesy one liners like these are. This was all pure human genius!)
